Needle case - hand painted Blackbird Bb1

Hello and welcome to my Big Cartel listing.

Here we have a needle case, created with new, Liberty Lawn cotton and vintage fabrics.

The focal point of the case is a my Blackbird design standing on a mushroom, which is screen printed and hand painted. I have also hand painted the flowers and teeny Bees, to the front and back of the case.

The case is is a simple 'book' design, lined with antique patchwork piece for your pins and needles.

Beautiful and very old Mother of Pearl buttons and a silk ribbon to close.

Measuring : closed : 4" across x 4 1/2"
10 x 11.5 cm.

Created in a naive/folk art style, with a nod to the past, imperfect ....with a time worn style.
