Art - original - flowers in a thimble vase - wall art

Hello and welcome to my Big Cartel listing.

This is an original handmade textile piece, entitled 'Perfect day'.

I have collaged time worn, antique fabric fragments, with hand stitching, to create a textural layer. To which, I have applied a thimble and tiny vintage millinery flowers... to create a vase of over pretty velvet flowers.

Hand stitched to a fabric backing. In turn, tacked to a piece of A5 handmade card.

Unframed.

The artwork measures : just under 3" x 3 1/2" - 7.5 x 9 cm
